Ghost Motel 1: Intro
Art/animation/story/conc
ept: Violet-AIM
Voices: XwaynecoltX

This was an unfinished flash project that I started back in 01/10/01. I had forgotten about it for awhile (over a year) and only recently decided to finish it. I left most of the movie how it was, with some changes. One of the changes was that the music ("Ghost Motel theme"/NG Audio Portal ID 6020) was written and played by me on the keyboard. I will be doing more flashes with my own music since it's a lot of fun. This is supposed to be an introduction to Ghost Motel, as there will probably be another episode. The next one will be better, I think it'll show more characters, more interaction, and have more story.

There's some interaction in the movie, so you'll have to click on things from time to time. Watch the movie please. Leave comments/suggestions if you want, so that you can help me make the next one better.

11/16/02 UPDATE: The next episode is done. Go check it out at "Ghost Motel 2".

Absent from flash after this was made. Any posts or reviews made by me from May 2005-Jan 2011 was not by me. Somebody broke into my account and made posts without my consent.

Your own music +

I liked the way it was interactive- I actually got to give a decent score on that this time. Speaking of scores, your own music is a nice touch, definitely nice that you did that personally, I like that. I think you've got a good start on this sort of series, and I'd be interested to see more. Nice voices by waynecolt by the way.

Not bad

The whole supposedly "scary" picture at the end didn't really scare me, and I think that's what ruined it for me. Also, the music has potential, just be able to play it well next time. The off-beat piano really started getting on my nerves. Good job, though.

Violet-AIM responds:

Sorry you didn't like the rhythm. I intended it to sound like that, starting slight slow and a little off in the beginning, then picking up. There were three different rhythms going on at the same time, and in one of them, the note is meant to be played a split second before the next measure, which might sound a bit off to you, but I liked it.

Very good

First of all I like the interactivity, how you got to choose where he went and what he said. You've definitely got something good here. And you've got some pretty good musical talent if you that was really you playing the piano and stuff on your keyboard. The ending was kinda corny but other than that, nice job.

Violet-AIM responds:

Yep, that was me playing the music on my Casio CTK-731 keyboard. I mess around with it, play what sounds good, and then a song is created. Music doesn't really take long for me to make, it's the flash that does. I got some other songs ready to go, but they're waiting for a flash to go with them. If you want to see another flash with my own music, then check out my other movie "Dream Haunting".

Violet-AIM responds:

I agree, the next one will definitely have some violence in it. You'll also find out who that guy is...though he won't be a jpg in the next one, he'll be drawn.
