Citizen Light

Every 100 years a "Keeper of the light" is awakened to fight the demons of the world. Scarlett had no idea what her destiny is until the day she discovered what she was born to be. This is an original Manga/Anime that I am currently working on. This is only a small clip of what is to come. Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks!

Not too bad, for a preview. Though I can understand how long that doing that much work can take. I wonder what takes longer, drawing the animation by hand or working with 3D models

PierceAnimation responds:

Thank you for your feedback! I think when it comes to which style is more difficult it depends on a few things. Granted 3D models are rigs, but some of those rigs are very intricate. I imagine it takes some time to make them. With hand drawn animation it definitely is labor and time intensive as well! So maybe they are pretty much even in terms of difficulty. Scarlett for instance I made a drawing of first, then transferred into vector shapes. I then rigged that like a 3D character would be, and I'm still not done. All said and done I imagine it will take me about 6 months to a year to get her and the other characters where they need to be to tell a story convincingly.
