Something I built for a class while attending Full Sail University

use arrows for movement, mouse-click to fire, and space-bar for thrusters

It's decent, but it's telling that I had much more success and achieved a higher score by simply leaning on the left arrow key and zooming across the board, not even firing my weapon, than I did by actively trying to dodge and shoot. The enemies are repetitive and are too difficult to shoot down, especially with the slow fire rate of the main weapon.

You got an Idea, you did make a game out of this idea! And I’m sure when you work on it, your university project might get funny. I know that you know that it is not a new concept, but that doesn’t matter, everyone has to start at least somewhere!
I’m sure you already know most of the problems like: what does the information bar (health, score etc.) in the end of the centre? or why are those controls so hard? what’s the goal? why are there no levels?

You did give it music and you had it all in colour but it will get boring in no time. The trick is to give the player something he can achieve very often like upgrades, or changes or lvl ups or boss level.

I’m sure you will create great work you just have to put more effort in it!

Too hard, controls are awkward and the game is kind of boring. Nothing to new but it's a decent game.
