It's pretty good, I would recommend making the area of showing things you can't see larger.
*for those that are confused* I didn't make the directions explicit enough, I apologize. Use your mouse to move the blue ball around. It will reveal hidden things on the level. You need to find your character with it. The character always starts on the left side of the screen.
This is a prototype that was developed in under two weeks for a class at my university. There are known bugs. The purpose of this short demo is show off the three mechanics:
jump
double jump
and using your light source to track your character
It was meant as an experiment of combining the freedom of exploration with the light mixed with the linearity of the character and controlling both at the same time.
This is not representative of a full game. The reason I uploaded this is because the website that hosts my portfolio has a file size limit for .swfs.

Definitely! I've been considering developing this into a full fledged game at some point. This is something that I'll implement and test for sure.
