========UPDATE 25/11-16========
Wow over 2000 views in just a couple of days, thank you all! :)
First real patch to the game is now up, i've tried to adress the issues raised in all the excellent feedback i've gotten since launch and have added the ability to skip the long dialogue "write-out" by holding down the spacebar. Also adressed some general minor issues and bug. A big thank you to all who've played and please keep giving feedback!
=======================

"Oldschool point'n'click adventure games and three-frame comic strips clash in a epictimetraveling duel to the death"- is the type of hyperbola one might expect to find in one of these descriptions.

In reality this is just a prototype/proof of concept for an oldschool, LucasArts-style point & click game. And my first ever completed game-project released for public consumption so i feel a something a little bit more subtle suits it better.

This is an homage to the types of games i played and loved growing up and started as a "can i really do this" -project. As such it's not the most stable game in the world as i was learning as i went along but it was alot of fun and i've learnt alot. Hopefully someone out there'll enjoy the hour or so it should take to play it through.

There are plans to make this an ongoing series but nothing is set in stone as of yet. Please leave feedback if you've enjoyed it or are experience issues as it will help me iterate on this and future projects.

Thank you! /Jonas

A short, but a rather good game

He still has his corpse lying around so he hasn't escaped death? He should still get shot by captain when returning to present so he should be glad something interfered. The way time travel works in games/movies is usually too messy and cannot withstand the test of logic. But anyway this was very funny, sounds are good ant the retro feeling of old Lucas Arts Quests is there. But this was too short a piece. I hope future episodes are longer!

Mammothtree responds:

Hey MeGa-wise!
Thank you for playing. i'm glad you enjoyed it.
The whole time-travel deal will be explained in the future but it might get even more messy before it's all said and done ;)

Coming episodes will be a fair bit longer longer, the two uploaded now are just a prototype and a vertical slice for a competition.

What is the song that was played at the end?

Mammothtree responds:

It is an original song i wrote for the game, it is actually uploaded here on newgroudns if you check my profile :)

Awesome game but the first time I played in the second picture after i looked at both pieces the guardian angel didn't show up when i looked at the door. I had to refresh the game for it to work.

Mammothtree responds:

Thank you very much!

Yeah it seems like the last update i made introduced a couple of bugs into the game. I'll try to get a fix in soon to sort it all out! Thanks for playing! :)

Theres a slight problem checking the 2nd picture of the "vaguely homoerotic painting", the guy will get stuck if you tell him to watch the painting without moving him further beyond since the captain stands right there in the way and the game will therefore remain stuck. Still gotta check it out since I had to refresh the page, but interesting little game since I'm a fan of point n' click ones.

Mammothtree responds:

Hey there! Sorry for the late reply!
Thanks for pointing that out, i'll try to replicate it and see if i can't fix it in an upcoming update :)

Thanks for playing!
