FIRST LOOK at Tempus Trip- The Series

Share Collapse

Tuesday afternoon, May 19th, 2016. The time space-continuum is sent into disarray when Chuck and Curly –two likeable but disoriented teens- accidentally destroy the Tempus Sanctum Oraculus, the mythical time keeping piece of the Ancients.

In their quest to restore the missing pieces of Tempus Oraculus, Chuck and Curly are sent into an alternate universe, a 1960’s where history is seriously out whack… With the help of Nina -their scatterbrained guide of the unknown- their mission is to restore order in the Universe before it’s too late.

And so the bell rings….

Expanding on what CrackerJack30 says, it's kind of a Quantum Leap meets Sliders, with a liberal dose of tongue-in-cheek. Pretty much everything about this is very good, but I'm going to hold back half a star for one possible area of improvement. I'm not sure what the best term for it is, but the presentation lacks a certain -- coherence, for a better word. I think it's something to do with the editing and selection of perspectives: although the animation was smooth, the overall presentation seemed choppy. Editing has to give the feeling of a fluid sequence of events, despite the chopping and changing perspectives and non-linear flow of time. I don't have enough personal expertise in the field to offer advice, sadly -- only enough to suggest that it seems to be the weak point in an otherwise strong presentation. It may also have been something to do with the script, which has to keep the viewer in tune with how events are unfolding on screen. Either way, good luck with your project.

thanks for your review! it's highly appreciated and we'll definitely take it into consideration.

Took me a moment to understand what was going on, but then it was a great fun to watch! Reminds me a bit of a modern comic adaptation of "Quantum Leap".
Animation and voice-acting is really good, I hope this will get picked up into an entire series.
