WARPSPEED MR SULU
What started out as a simple celebration of Star Trek's 50th birthday is growing more detailed and interactive. Take control of various Federation ships of the line, using the up, down, left, right arrows and just have some simple, mindless fun.
9/27: Added in some additional ships: the damaged Constellation and Reliant.
Click the Starfleet insignia to scroll through ship choices.
Click the "P" button for phasers and hit the Keyboard "X" for torpedoes.
Making changes a bit at a time.
Of course, all things Star Trek are owned by CBS and Paramount. Just saying. ;-)

Thanks! Appreciate the feedback!
Mindless fun is right. LIGHT SPEED, ENTERPRISE! LIGHT SPEED!
Good replicas of the ships, and nice touch adding the correct music to each ship, but over all this seems incomplete to me. The ships just pass back and forth through the same small square, there are no weapons or other sound FX (eg. warp drive and such). I think you could do a whole lot more with this and turn it into a full game. I hope you do, because I would enjoy playing it.
I am limited by my current know how of coding at this point, but seeing as this is becoming more and more of a labor of love to the genre, I will definitely keep striving to add more and more of the good stuff (aka weapons and effects). Some assets are underway to that end, but I want them to vary depending on their vessels. Of course, just getting the things to work without massive errors will be a start!
Thanks for your feedback!
Nice tribute. I second adding phasers or torpedos. F* the haters.
Already have the some assets made for weapons. Still working on the code to make it work correctly. This is an exciting time, learning all this as I go. Thanks for your response!
I love your appreciation for star trek, but it is not a game, so I won't rate it any stars. The music and graphics were a nice touch. Also, the ship's acceleration is nice and smooth.
I agree that it is not a game per se, but it's not a video either, so I didn't know where to put it. Since it is interactive, I figured games was the proper place. I appreciate your response!
