Unique game mechanics. I found collecting the orbs to be surprisingly satisfying. Adding a pleasant sound effect for collecting them would add a lot to it. I can see this going further, perhaps with more puzzles and harder levels. If the player was in control of when an orb is used it might make it easier to creature more of a puzzle/strategy game. Although, the flow it nice with the automatic orb usage. The color palette is working well. The muted background helps the orbs stand out. The death animation is neat.

I really enjoyed it. Simple but effective. Collecting orbs and using them is fun. Music gets a lil irrittating by the end. Lightining adds a lot to the mood.
I agree with some of complains:
- no back story (personally I don't care about it as long as game is fun)
- straightforward -you collect orbs only to use them (it's ok for LD game but in future try to make it more puzzling , maybe something that would force player to explore enviroment)

Story:
There is none. As others have said, there is no mystery because this game tells you nothing about said mystery, and at no point does it do anything to resolve it, and the only way the ending could be any more anticlimactic is if the game had made any attempt at building some sort of climax up.
Gameplay:
Your field of vision is so small that you either learn where the unlit spike pits are through trial and error, or you go extremely slow so that you can stop in time to see them. Neither is fun or engaging.
As well as this, since you see so little, each time you jump over a spike pit you're doing a leap of faith, and one which, in one occasion at least, would cause you to overshoot and fall into the next pit and die. Again, not fun.
You can't tell what the enemies are until you get killed by them, because they look very similar to the orbs you are supposed to be collecting. At least they are well lit so that you can see them, unlike the spikes.
And the difficulty... There is absolutely no challenge other than that created by the excessively small and restrictive view. When I got to the hourglasses, I thought that I might finally see some sort of challenge... But then all I found was the orbs I needed and a wall. Why even have the end require those orbs if you're going to put them right next to the place you're going to take them?
The only good thing I have to say about this game is that the enemies are lit, which stops them from being even more annoying than the spikes.
You could improve on it by:
- Adding a way to expand your field of vision, either by making the playable character's light reach further or by lighting the path ahead in a more clear and consistent manner to remove the trial and error, and leaps of faith.
- Increasing the difficulty in a way that does not force the player to undergo trial and error, possibly by adding platforming that's actually challenging to your level, using, for example, moving platforms and enemies to create timing challenges.
- Making the level(s) less linear, so that the player isn't just mindlessly following a single path that has been set for them.

Fun. Could use more level areas ( a bit longer). Still awesome.
