I'm feeling artsy.

Well, I understand what the intent is behind this. However, another thing that I saw before the ending was more about mental illness'.

I'm not expert, but I know for a fact that some of them are basically voices in your head, telling you very similar things as to what you put. No one is going to care, it's easier not to. Yet you keep doing it, because what else are you going to do? Nothing... isn't something better than nothing?

With that in mind, I was kinda surprised to find something at the end, I kinda expected more of a fade to black implying you are still going on, that you won't stop. But that's only with the initial interpretation. Wich, no hate or anything, I think would have been a better message or at least a better portrayal for that message.
For the message you meant, some kind of work would be necessary, something not to fail at, even if it's just going up steps, but just to imply your doing something rather than the most basic thing you can.

Also, it's fine without a 'reward' because the reward in art is just what you make of it. It could be the experience, or it could be what people think of it. So that part is okay even if some people don't like it.

It was good though, I very much enjoyed (and related) to the experience and I hope you make more things like this in the future.

There could be "voices" when you move backwards as well, like "See, I told you" and maybe add some obstacles? I liked it, though. Keep it up.

at the end all i wished is that i took the advice and stopped there's no payoff at all it had potential but...fell short should have added platforming or maybe puzzles or something idk pretty much anything also i don't really get an artsy vibe from it and the qoutes at the end detract from the game honestly really it feels like the message was supposed to be that it's the journey and not the destination but the journey was bad it was slightly better than the destination though so a complete fade to black might have been better

Gonna have to give you some constructive criticism; the game is great, however, the lack of engaging ludic elements and the shoe-horned quotations at the end make for a sub-par art house flash. I "got the message," it'd be kind of hard not to, but throughout my progression through the game i was actively interpreting different, yet similar morals. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, which is an ethos ignored by this flash's ending quotations. In short, I would have liked the message to be left open for interpretation, which is a totally feasible thing to accomplish, even WITH those quotations, maybe by sprinkling the aforementioned quotes throughout the adventure in semi-winded intervals, so as to only suggest the artist's interpretation. Bleh, it's like 3AM where i'm at. Feel free to PM me if you want more constructive criticism.

Good concept but it's not a game at all, perhaps add some platforms, ladders, gaps to jump, something, anything because although I liked the quotes at the end I really did feel I just wasted 5 minutes of my life!
