It's a good flash, but...

You're just as bad as the media you're bashing. People in your reviews are crying out "F THE GOVERNMENT, THEY'RE CENSORING US!!!!" It's not the government doing it. There have been no laws that censor the media, the only censorship has been self censorship, which is human nature. Having the paper's being censored because it might make the corporation look bad is better than the government doing it, because anything that makes the government look bad will get censored.

I also found your section claiming that anything about the president gets censored. In my experience, the president (no matter who's in office- republican or democrat) gets absolutely RAPED by the media. The whole marshmellow thing would get blown all over the newspapers, not get covered up.

While a good video, it's every bit as biased and censored as the media you're bashing. A privatized media is much better than a government run one.

To true...

This is probably a flash that has some of the most actual content here on NG. Most here are spoof, mock and parody topics and people. Props to whoever made this flash because this was a great attempt on actual content. If you ever want the true story I advise going on the net and taking a look at both the left and right extrremes. Examine their arguments and make a decision for yourself. Don't believe everything in the press. Though then again the press is not all that bad if not for Newsweek we would not know many of the details of 9/11 and the government would never have had that commision...

Very good in my opinion...

This deserves more recognition

I don't know why this piece has only 92 reviews. I don't think there is a more substantive flash on Newgrounds. Most of the pieces in the "political" section, while funny, fail to do anything more than to mock a person through their media labels (such as Bush is Stupid, or Kerry Flip-Flops). This one really impressed me.

Wow

I knew the media was corrupt, and that we get fed the same b.s. every day, but that really showed how the idealistic reporter can't help but become the jaded panderer.

Not very falshy...but beautiful

That was beautiful. It was a very good message that you obviously put alot of thought into. You make a good point about good people empowering evil leaders. I don't believe all Republicans are bad people. Actually, I know a couple of good ones! :) BUT, the good American people are empowering an evil President, just like people have throughout history. I hope against hope that something happens to enlighten Americans everywhere so that they can see the error of this administration and take action to put this country back on the path of righteousness, prosperity and hope.
