This is the hardest Mini Skears game yet. This is really aimed at folk who've played a couple of previous versions, so if you haven't played any, try Mini Skears or Rol-Ovir 2 first.

If you feel up to the challenge, know this: I've added a background, there's a new tune, I've sorted out the buttons and I've sorted out some of the presentation.

There are 6 levels, 2 of which need to be unlocked by getting a good enough score.

As always, I respond to all reviews. If you have any suggestions, criticisms, or any feedback whatsoever, please leave a review.

Thanks a lot.

Stay healthy and alive,

"Great!"

et another amazing game in the MS series. Same simple gameplay as always, but with new sceneries to waste time in. Would be nice with all these games in one file though. Anyhow, keep up the good work!

Author's Response:

The idea is that you play the MINI games knowing you can play through within 5 minutes. Then maybe play another day for a higher score and to access the bonus levels.

Fun, action packed, and wacky. A total package of fun action and wackiness.

"Better!"

date: January 26, 2006

Good to see you finally made some improvements this time around in this version, my man. This was indeed far more playable than the others, and even though the layout of the menu and everything was still shoddy and unchanged, I liked the actual gameplay in this one a lot more than the others. It became quite hard by the last stage, and I didn't unlock the bonus rounds after going through the stages for the first time, which is a good sign! The music was still average, but there was audio there, and I liked the sound effects. A definate improvement.

"Praise,Critisise,Suggestions. Questions Anyone?"

date: January 17, 2006

Skears is a great game that will have you trying to beat the highscores for hours. The idea for a "bonus level" is great because it gives the player something to work for. It's simple yet challenging so everyone can play it. The addition of music is a nice touch. I also like your font.

Although sometimes it can be a little too challenging for nonhardcore gamers. I suggest making 2 different difficulties.Other than that I dont think you can make this game much better.

If you make a next Skears installment I suggest something of a "Skears Mega Collection" with all the skears put into one game; perhaps with a few bonus levels put in.

Now for me to ask you a Question.Have you ever give a review a 10/10?I want to get an idea of what you think is the perfect review.

: I want to get an idea of what you think is the perfect review.

An ideal review would address every aspect of the game/movie and let me know exactly how good each is. Tell me how the reviewer experienced it. (If it's a game, lives lost etc.) Let me know what to work on, what to keep... why my game's better or worse than comparative things... and the review should also encourage me to take the right path in life and would perhaps result in me achieving a state of eternal bliss. It would also make me laugh.

Obviously, I can't expect all that. I'll probably give a 10 to a review... eventually.

But of nearly 1500 submissions on NG I've reviewed, 7 got a 10. (I just checked. Of course, some entries age worse than others.

"Challenging"

date: January 2, 2006

Wow, this one was really hard, I had trouble getting past the fourth level, this is a great one for people looking for a challenge. Finally you added some good background music, nice choice. I liked the intro and level designs. Now I know why its called "Encapsulated". Nice job.

Author's Response:

Nice review. You get down to specifics on a great number of occassions, considering the review length.

Again your review lack any real criticisms/suggestions though.

It's useful to know you "had trouble getting past the fourth level" and that you considered the bgm a "nice choice". (Though I'd point out I composed it, so it was a creation rather than a choice.)

Also useful to know is that you "liked the intro and level designs".

But some criticism/suggestions would give me more to work on and be even more useful. Even just one.

Praise, criticise, summarise. I consider that the minimum for a decent review.

4/10
