Hoonters is a free turn-based RPG developed in Unity. A mixture of Monster Hunter, Classic JRPGs and loads of hentai. You take on the role of a Beast Hunter, exploring lands in search of monsters whose fluids contain special characteristics, making them valuable resources for creating medicine, commodities and several other things. Not all monsters appreciate being exploited like that, in fact, if you lose to them, they're likely to make you taste your own medicine! ...Quite literally, in this case.

This is a VERY EARLY alpha for the game. It is honestly just a little above a prototype. If you're interested in the project, however, do leave feedback! Any bugs or glitches you find and tell me, I'll get to fixing ASAP.

Keep in mind, Unity's WEBGL export option is still far from being perfect. I am constantly doing my best to try and optimize the build for HTML5, but there's only so much I can do. If you want a stable version, you can get an EXE over at our other mirrors on Patreon.

Q: The Exit buttons in the Main Menu and on the Town don't work. Why?
A: Those are for the .EXE version. I'm currently working on something so that the game will recognize when it's on WEBGL or EXE and then activate/deactivate some of those options accordingly. It's still very buggy though, so I figured it'd be better to just leave it disabled, to be safe.

Q: The game won't load for me, I only get a gray screen! Why?
A: Oh boy. The Unity WEBGL application is either loading, or it was unable to pre-allocate enough memory to start up the game. Try closing any other tabs you have open and then hard refreshing this game. If all else fails and you want to play the game, the best suggestion I have is going after the .EXE through our patreon. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Q: My game stopped working, what do I do?
A: That...Well, that could be due to a bunch of reasons, really. First off, sorry for the inconvenience! Second, tell me where it stopped working, what you were doing and, if there are any, what messages the WEBGL application gave you when it stopped working and I'll look into it ASAP.

Q: The Guild Leader won't let me go on a hunt?
A: You're definitely forgetting to pick something. Just be sure to go through all of the steps in the Expedition Menu, from the first to the very last. Area Selection -> Monster Selection -> Backpack Selection -> Equipment Selection
Be sure to click on every single one of the buttons, just to make sure!

Q: The Harpy is OP, she needs to be nerfed!
A: You have access to unlimited powder traps. Use them.


- 2 new monsters
- 2 new weapons
- 1 new armor
- New icons to display Status Effect on the Player & Enemy on the Battle Screen (So you'll always know for how long someone is stunned, how much extra damage you currently have, etc.)
­- "Sell all" button on the shop. Should make selling loot a lot faster.

Fixed a bug where the Trap Effects would get carried over multiple expeditions.

Version 0.6C

The whip's skill no longer reduces max HP if the attack itself doesn't deal damage.
The Gellusk can no longer heal over her Maximum HP.
Updated to the latest version of Unity.
Fixed a weird animation bug which sometimes caused the Gellusk's fist to leave the screen.

ok then. I like the game and its concept. But not a fan of the fact that some fights are intended to be very SPECIFIC puzzles for you to have any chance.

I can be an interresting mechanic, but here it feels frustrating as hell.

And the Harpys bleed? The everstack is just rediculous. Bleed is essentially YOU LOSE. Unless you do the puzzle game. There should be a ceiiling for its stacking. As it is it just frustrates.

And as for the Gellusk? ... Always hit you say? ... well i was building up my combo as you suggested and then MISSED! .... So you made a puzzle game out of the fights ... and then added random elements like that and crits to it to fuck a player over. THAT is not a good idea!

Using a good strategy should be rewarded. But this is a case of: Use the ONLY STRATEGY and it MIGHT work if the RNG gods are on your side.

Now. Sorry if this sounded overly angry. I enjoyed the game for what it was. But it is a FLAWED thing at the moment, the frustration these leaves me with drags down the game i am sad to say.

Don't worry, I understand what you mean. I talked about this on the project's Patreon the other day, but the battle system is not finished and is prone to get rebalanced in the future so the player will have way more different tools to approach each monster and situation. That being said, I'll probably be nerfing these two monsters for the next release until I do have more of these options available for the player.

Though...I'm confused as to how you missed the Gellusk. She literally has 0 dodge, it should theoretically be impossible for you to miss her. Might've been a bug, I'll look into it. Sorry for the frustration.

could not get any damage to enemy with any thing but the club has balnasing issues but love the concept cant wait till its up and runnimg

Game play is good and I like the art. However the sex scenes, being just a few CGs, are a bit lacking. Adding some text to make it more would be great.

interesting game and very decent art. i don't like futa so the goblin was a bit off a turnoff, especially as the first enemy. an option to disable it would be nice. i would also kill for a male player character.
keep it up.
