Who doesn't know the legend?
You really could have had some sort of narrator for your version of the Creapy Pasta Squidward's Suicide. That is pretty much waist made this toon a flop. It didn't fit the theme of a Creapy pasta. I like that you tried to use Five Nights at Freddie's Screems to make scary roars and stuff. but not enough scary and unexpected part of the film to jump scare you failed deeply on that tho.
The best part of this Short is the Clumsy Clarneting of Squidward. The animation and special Effects of the scene were Awesome.
Please Try to Follow the source material and story of a Famous Creapy Pasta. Red Mist's Did not Look, feel, or sound like Squdward's Suicide.
Keep up the good work.
May the power of Animation be with you.
Thank you for your somewhat entertaining Cartoon.
Did you try to jumpscare me with squidward?
Ok so let's address the elephant in the room. The art. It looks so choppy, if you want to scare someone, have better visuals. No one is scared of a low quality Squidward with FNAF screams.
There were even times where the mouths of some characters came of the body and the characters extended and shrunk back, probably to create a look of Squidward breathing, but it doesn't look like that.
The sound wasn't terrible, but probably not the best either.
So let me sum up the plot. Squidward is visited by some weird thing at the door saying that "The red mist is coming." Like, blood? And then he does some pupil shrinking thing like in anime.
He then runs up and opens a closet or something with... something inside, with these visuals it's hard to tell. He then performs at some concert with his clarinet. Which was apparently bad, I taught it sounded nice. And then he gets socked in the face by a tomato. And then Squidward is sad ;(. And then he kills himself. And then... Credits? Did you really need credits? Something I noticed is that you draw some inspiration from anime. Like his pupils shrinking or the entire credit sequence.
I don't really like it, but worse things have gotten through the portal.
