Controls: WASD to move and jump. Hold down the Left Mouse Button and then release at just the right time to kick the ball

Game made within 48 hours for GameJolt's #badboxart Challenge. A challenge where you had to make a game based on pre-existing bad box art.

Are you ready for an extremely challenging game where you kick balls around to aim them at your enemies? Rockin' Skyball was created within 48 hours with hardcore-retro nerds in mind but also with desire to create a new and unique gameplay style that has never before been done.

In Rockin' Skyball you need to time your shots accurately else your shot is instantly messed up while a variety of enemies swoop to attack without warning. With fast paced hardcore techno music (which I also managed to compose within the jam period phew) keeping the games energy up and kicking you will always be motivated to stay pumped and focused.

You are only given 5 lives with no extra life bonuses. There are only 12 waves though but they do get increasingly difficult as you beat each wave. Do you think you can make through all of them?

Its not bad. Its pretty good for a 48 hour made game made by someone new to this stuff. You might want to work on graphics and art, or hire someone. Still, overall not bad.

Super awesome idea! Game mechanics are really cool. Art and soundtrack need a bit of work, but they keep a continuous theme so I'm not going to complain. Great work for 48 hours. I hadn't even heard of the bad boxart competition.

ExtremeZ7 responds:

The 'Requires Unity3D plugin' problem should be fixed now.

Pretty good for a 24 hr submission! Game needs more depth to get beyond this score.
