Dude Catch It!!

Share Collapse

Okay so real life we were playing pokemon together and I was super hyped to catch an Abra, I tried using thunderbolt to paralyze it and yet I made it faint, Steve asked if I caught it and thats when I went on rage "No! IT FAINTED! So I just left it there in the grass!"

Hey everyone! So this is our first upload to Newgrounds, we have been a massive fan of Newgrounds growing up and if it wasn't for this site and community we wouldn't be the animators we are today, so we just wanna say thanks for being awesome and for checking out our animation.

The animation and voices were great, but I feel that if the actual content is going to be so short, the self-promotion and credits should be shorter. The actual content should be the bulk of a video, not the promotion. I would also like to point out that the story and conversation feel a little unfinished. I feel as if you two could've had a much longer conversation about WHY Pokemon can't be caught if they faint, and how ridiculous of a concept it is that a fainted Pokemon can't be caught even though you can catch a Pokemon if it's paralyzed or sleeping (which are practically the same things, in retrospect. They're still just as helpless and easy to catch)

The animation was pretty good, and the voices were good, but if you're going to make a video that is only 20 seconds long you should make sure your credits aren't just as long. As it stands hyping your channel is half of the video. That's fine, everyone does that, but maybe you should make a shorter version for shorter animations or something.

Nice animation, sounds need a little improvement.

The animation is absolutly fantastic but the pacing of the joke made it lose its humor.
making a good joke is all about pacing so even a grate joke can lose it's momentum when even a few frames off.

WAAAAOOOOOW your animation is so amazing no wait one of the best that newgrounds offers
