You have a really great sense of timing and I especially love the movement of the zombie coming out of the ground. I think you need to have a better seperation between your backgrounds and animation just to help with the clarity. Also, I the parts that are referenced/rotoscoped stand out because it's so different from your natural sense of timing. I would suggest only using reference for your key animation and then inbetweening the rest the way you normally would to keep it from looking so obvious.

ganuganu responds:

Thank you. I will surely correct the things in my next anim.

I cringe whenever I click on a video with the words "Animation tests" in the title, but this one actualyl came out all right. The artworks in all the tests you've showed are really nice, and from the first 2 test animations I'm assuming that you have ideas for an apocalyptic animation?

Any who, good work. I'm looking forward to see what you'll create out of these four animations.

ganuganu responds:

Thank you very much. Yes I am planning to make some zombie animation but still in plan stage.

Some pretty decent work here, towards the end I'll suggest to see the ears, trunk and clothes of the elephant man be nudged slightly and blown back as the robot implodes then explodes for greater effect. Keep experimenting and see what you find, also view other peoples professional work and learn from that, you already have a solid head start towards perfecting your craft.

ganuganu responds:

Thank you and I will sure look into the details closely.

Nice concept

Enticing is what this was and you have a nact for this sort of stuff and allthough there are some things that could be improved but I will get to that later in this review, but Quite Frankly this was a great start to what I hope will be a fantastic idea turned into flash adventure. You have a nice concept here, I really love the black and white on this, but most of all really like the spots of color and such, I do wish you had more of a story here but you really made a nice idea here, and I can see it propelling into something even more. Also the "RANDOM" you presented here was really awsome though. And once again I must say that was a pretty good entry something differant but I liked it for what it is, Wish there was more like this, but for what it is, its pretty interesting and entertaining ofcourse.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
This was a certainly good flash if you ask me, but it could be better with a few suggestions and ideas, Theres a number of things and ways you could go about it Great concept with this one, but needs more of a story base you have the animations down and the detail just put it together in a great kind of story.

~X~

ganuganu responds:

Thank you for the detailed review. First i thought to rate my capabilities by posting the tests here and then planned to make a Zombie animation.
