I made this, but here's the Youtube link, just incase your computer lags on Newgrounds, like some do.

Of Cats and Remotes, a novelette.
Hi! I got a graphics tablet for Christmas, and after drawing a bit, I started a little cartoon. I went off and on with this, and it ended up taking about half a year. Better late than never!
The reason that it says "EasyVid" in the corner, and that it's even choppier than it should be, is because I made the animation really
long, and Pencil2D couldn't export it to a Flash file. But hey, I'll learn from my mistakes!
Also, since I tried exporting it so much, I accidentally created a bunch of files that are taking up a lot of space, and I'm scared to delete one because I might delete the real project by accident. So, the main reason I'm posting it here is so I can delete those without worry.
Well, I hope the 5 people that watch this video enjoy it!

So, about the program you could always just download the flash trial. :P Also there's a free animation program called Toon Boom. I've never really used it myself, but I guess it would be a good compromise.
Also I heard that flash became a subscription too, so if you like Flash in the trial you could always just do that. .w.

Anyway, you explained that the animation itself was your first one which is pretty okay considering that. However, one thing that I would work on would be pacing. It's someone that I myself haven't really been practicing, but it's always good to practice with that. Also, I would suggest making the music lower so it's in the background and adding sound effects to not only add emphasis on certain things, but to also make it more clear of what's happening. :>

Otherwise, congratulations on your first animation. owo

I feel dumb for not knowing about the Flash trial. I'll look into that. Also, thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to work on pacing.

Woow, you didn't even export it. LMAO.

KozyCat responds:

Umm yeah, the description addresses that. My computer can be trash, so the file was to big. I probably shouldn't of posted this, now that I think about it.
