My only suggestions would be to change the name.
"Hi New School Project" isn't very catchy. I could see this potentially becoming a decent game with improvements. For an example, the yellow squares. I've played the game for five minutes or so and I can already tell that they will be the most annoying part of the game.
I look forward to seeing future updates if you plan on doing so.

Functions decently. Health works. Could use slightly faster running, sound, and your stars are clipping off in the menu, which is also sluggish. Keep working at it.

Interesting concept, but rather bland. In the instructions I would add information on what each monster is/does and more info on the regen blocks. Can't wait to see the end product.

You already acknowledged there was things to work on in the description, and I would say if you improve this, you're on your way to become a great flash artist.

The first thing is the lack of sound or bgm. Its necessary to add "life" to the game.

The next thing is the damage, and how theres no "reaction" to someone getting hit other than the meters going down. You should at least have them blink along with a sound effect.

The enemies, and the character, weren't very lively. You should change it so shooting and aiming is done with the mouse, and the protag's arm moves as you move the mouse. The slimes could maybe have some kind of bubbling effect, and I couldn't tell the yellow squares were enemies until they vomited acid on me.

Anyway, your doing great so far with the movement, the health meters, etc. As you are willing to improve, I give you a 4/5

This was a great game to pass the time for a little while, but there are a few problems. First the game is overall very laggy. While there obviously was a lot of work put in to this, it just seems like it needs a little more animation or just so that the character's legs make it seem like he/she is walking. Overall I liked it despite the bugs and other things. With some work, this could turn out to be a great game!
