Get Laura to workout in this playable preview of the game, with 7 animated levels.
Boo. Not that good.
I did find this rather amusing but I am in agreement that these games need to be labeled as a freaking demo if they aren't full games.
You have what it takes to be a game maker but really you need rethink your stuff instead of just using animation. And I on purpose to see if what i did was not to click ... you cant even fail. If the goal was to workout alone then you should be able to fail the workout and change body scale base on that and this is nothing short then just a chance to show off your 3d animation which are btw very flat. I suggest that you take some time grab a girl "friend" and ask her to research the material what feel realistic and watch how the human body develop as far as during workout.
This isn't even a full game. It's barely a demo. The clicking the stupid meter makes you miss out on the animation. It's a tedious task also, click a meter that goes up and down? I don't want to focus on that, I wanna see what's going on to the right of it... The animation was the only good thing bout this game. The fact that you don't get to use most of the animations was crap. The story was stupid also. "Let's go on a date, but first workout!" So pre date sex? I mean how do you go from talking about going on a date sometime to banging in the gym?
Rage inducing at best. Snooze-worth at worst.
As a matter of principle, I will now blam all Christie's Room games. They're demos but not titled as such. They have bad production values and crappy gameplay at best.
The clicking of the meter is super tedious. That you have to do it multiple times is unbelievably bad.
The main progression meters stay red even when full so if you click on them to supposedly finish off the segment, you end up replaying the last bit with no option to return to menu.
The developer seems uncertain how to make in-game progress meters grow up/down instead of spreading out from the centre.
The story is plain weird. Workout to get a date turns quickly into "let's have sex while you workout".
"My head is FILLINF with blood..."
I like the scene progressions. I dislike the tedium to use them.
The graphics and some of the animations look good - much better than previous games.
An epic, colorful and fast-paced arcade game
