Update (ver. 1.1.0):

- Balance improved, now the game will be easier in the beginning.

After the long wanderings Cornelius returned home just to find that his father died and all the money had gone. He will have to rebuild the gladiators house that belongs to his family almost from scratch.

I liked it, but the battles are pretty much all the same.

Some improvements would include not forcing the player to accept contract murders or pillaging the poor. Once you choose not to do those things, you lose options to earn money.

There is a difference between ruthless and evil, powerful and heartless, but the game developer doesn't implement that here. Limited the playability to a single day.

Been trying to get the Death Machine medal for years now, i have maxed the class 5 times now, not to mention it's also the slowest of them all to max and it still didn't unlock! It also the only goddamn medal i need for the full 100%

Seriously, fuck this game!

Nice game!
The only reason why i'm not rating it 5 stars is because of the class balancing. Some are simply better than othrers and i don't really like that. I expected some strengths and some weaknesses in each one, but i ended up stuck with my inicial build and noticed that polearm users are just better than other melee classes.
I had to start a new game with 2 tridents and 1 lance and beat the game barely reaching max lvl, hardly losing a gladiator in any match

nice gladiator game, easy to pick-up, but its all about picking the right gladiator, the right class and the right equipment your own way. some issues keep me from giving it a 5 star, and these are:
1. No extra slot for gladiator, i want to experiment with combinations and that includes body types. im now stuck with 5 maxed out level gladiators, if i want to change, lets say 4 heavy bodies, i have to sell off my max level non-heavy (not to mention some max skill level). no thanks.
2. Limited epic equipment. 4 of my party has no epic helmets, and some weapons cant be duplicated (mission and trophy rewards) and some can be missed (Flame of the Gods or Golden Axe) so im limited class combinations.
3. Attack Speed is unclear, since theres no indication, ive seen heavy gladiator using a sword outswing a light gladiator with a knife. sure, some are pretty obvious like the two-handed weapons being slow.
4. too much class-restricted weapons. i wanna wield 2 axes or using a spear and a shield,
too bad i cant later on. some class skills wont work if not equipped properly.
