Volcano Dungeon was a project I put together to learn C2. It's a bit rough around the edges n' it's getting harder n' harder to resist the urge to scrap it n' remake it with my levelled up C2 skills, so I'll release it into the wild n' start on something fresh.

wow, very nice. now this is very nostalgic for old nintendo. music was wonderfully done and graphics were superb well done

so far an interesting game, even if i failed the first mission lmao

I chose this randomly from your profile and it had me hooked! Again you nailed the NES graphics and difficult - I can't imagine how long it must have taken you timing all those platforms to sync up properly - Eventually, I began to trust the game design knowing that even though there didn't look like there was enough time to make the jumps there was. Really solid man, loved it!

Gypopothomas responds:

Whoa! Love seeing feedback for my old games! Thanks a lot! Aye, designing the levels took a lot of trial and error and making everything up on the spot! Haha!

10/5 art and music

Game design is questionable (pause between attacks, smallness of enemie platforms sometimes resulting in vertain dmg, not allowing players to speed up the levels if they are good while still requiring each level to be replayed after loosing 3 lives, etc) but still, very impressive thing :)

So before I said the controls were annoying... They actually aren't, I just sucked. But the problem that I have now is that the game moves forward very slowly, and it finds me waiting at the top of the screen for it to raise higher so I can see what I'm doing very frequently.
