I made this little game in 4 days for my girlfriend's birthday. She had a dog called Bruno that she loved very much, and I decided to make Anna and Bruno the stars of this game.
The game is a simple, endless runner where you jump from platform to platform, collecting presents, birthday cakes and doggie treats for points, while trying to avoid thorny bushes and falling.
EDIT: Now the game has medals! Woohoo!
I also tweaked a few things from suggestions and feedback, like removing the kids flooding the screen with their celebrations every time you pick up an item. Now they only appear when you get a new high score. Tweaked a few other tiny details as well, like how often thorn bushes appear etc. You can also jump off screen as high as you want.
NOTICE: Anyone is free to make videos of my games. Sharing video game experiences with others is really nice. It gives me some exposure while the people who make the videos get something back in return. I fully support the monetisation of any video you make containing footage from my games. As long as you don’t claim to be the creator of my games, it’s all good! Throwing my name, SeethingSwarm, as the creator into the description or into the video itself is also always appreciated.
Happy birthday.
WOOF WOOF
I think it has something to do with ruffle. For me no medals seem to work with ruffle emulator anymore. Medals in games running with the newgrounds player work fine for me.
medals are broken but great game
Hmm, I've been gettig reports recently of some of my games' medals not working anymore here on Newgrounds. I have no idea what has changed, or why the medals aren't working for some people anymore. These games are pretty old now already, and I'm not sure if there's a fix, but I do apologize. Glad you liked the game though and thanks for letting me know :)
It has a kinda silly style and the controls are very responsive. It makes the game and characters very lovable. To be honest I don't have anything bad to say about this game.
Wow that's awesome! Thank you :)
