This is a small game made for the #GBJam 4 game jam, made in under 11 days.

Sorry for any bugs and lack of gameplay. This is the second Game Jam game I've ever made, and it was stressful as hell to make!

That was very very interesting. It was a little bit of a pain to constantly go all the way back to go to the store, then to continue on, but it was still awesome fun. Reminded me of the times of legend of zelda, and it being for gameboy jam 4[no idea of what that is, but will find out fast through google], I can assume that the games for it are heavily influenced by the original gameboy games. :) Bravo more that you are only 13 years of age, and able to do such a game. I know those that are far older that can't do so much. May you continue to make games.

Thank you so much! Yeah, it was influenced by the original gameboy games, and I figured I'd do a Zelda-like, because it's by far one of my favourite series. Glad you enjoyed this!

Sorry, nobody else has had any problems like this so it's most likely a problem on your part. :( Perhaps try updating unity web player?

Is there actually a shop ? or didn't you made it to add it.
That and a mute button. Still good game.

Yes, there was! As soon as you spawn into the game, the room beneath the starting room is the shop. Believe it or not, a long time was dedicated to making that shop good xD

The game is kinda short and could use some color. Too simple too, and not innovative at all. Gameplay's smoothness is damaged by continuous (and often involuntary) room changes, that sometimes prevent you from picking up items. The soundtrack could be better too... less repetitive, maybe?

But, hey, this 13 y.o. made a proper game and showed an ability well above the 'under judgment' average. And has a fine sense of humor, something that can't be thought. Those two signs, ah!
I see great potential here.

It was made for #GBJam 4, meaning that it was supposed to represent a GameBoy game. The limit of colours and screen swapping were features, not gameplay flaws, as the whole point of the jam was to create a game that felt the most like it would have been on GB!

But yeah, thanks for the review. This was something pretty much brand new to me that I wanted to try and I learnt a lot doing it! (:

That's pretty impressive for a 13 year old.

Wish the sword could pick up items too. Sometimes items end up on the wall and you can't pick them up anymore. Also noticed you can't pick up items that are at the very edge of the screen (the screen actually shifts to the next one if you try).

Yeah! I'm sorry about that. I didn't get round to fixing that problem, because of all of the other bugs previously in the game. I tried my best to prevent it from happening though!
