Touch purple skears and avoid the red ones.
After a long time, I have done what you all asked for - put music into the game.
It's all played by me on the keyboard, so if you have any specific criticisms to make of the music (e.g. it's too fast etc.) tell me and I'll be able to sort it out for the next game.
The targets are a little more lenient his time and there are 5 levels again, 2 of which need to be unlocked.
Also, there's now an in-game explanation of the score.
As always, I really look forward to reading any reviews. If you have any suggestions or criticisms - if there's anything you think should be changed - please tell me.
Together, we can hopefully make this series better and better.
By the way, my personal high score is 120065. I'll be interested to hear what your final scores were...
One last thing - has anyone actually read this long commentary?
Another interesting update to a great game. :P Simple and addicting, as always, great stuff. Couldbn't beat your highscore unfortunatly, heh, it's insane. Keep up the good work!
As the instructions indicate, the scores are all about keeping the multiplier going. If you let over a second pass without collecting a skear, the multiplier drops back down and you've basically missed your chance to attain the target.
Tips - don't collect the first skear straight away. collect it at the last possible moment, wait, collect the next skear etc.
- if there are, say, 4 skears available to collect, don't collect them all at once. Collect one, wait half a sec, collect the 2nd and so on. this way you can give yourself more time so the next group of skears comes on-screen and you can keep the multiplier up.
OH MA GAWD THERE IS SOUND >:O
Haha, even though it was pretty annoying music, it was there. Which is a good move XD haha. The sound effect for hitting the purple skears was good, and I finished up with over 100,000 in the end after the bonus rounds - which were better than last time.
Overall, it's the same cruddy style of game as the others, and basically no changes have been made to it apart from the music.
Certainly needed to get rid of that purple font, increase the quality of the graphics, etc.

Thanks for another great review. As usual with great reviews, my only piece of constructive criticism is to give even more. But I thank you for all you have given.
Still this game was kind of short, but it is quite challenging to get the extra stage. Seemed like no matter how hard I tried I can't get the target score for the second level. Nice music and sound effects. Could have used a little more challenge in beating the normal levels, they were way too easy just to beat.
Praise, criticism and an opening summary all exist.
My only criticism now is the length.
A solid review though.
Sounds does add something to the game. I think there might be some better soudn you can use but it was nice to have.
Well I treally did awesome on this game I made it right through to the bonus of the first play through. I didn't even mess up till I got to bonus two. I do like the fact when you mess up the music does change. Nice work.
I review your review:
"Criticise, praise and summarise," I think I wrote to the previous reviewer. You, by contrast have managed to do all 3.
You pack a lot into your few lines.
Always positive, you praise the presence of music, the 'losing' sounds and in closing remark, "Nice work."
You suggest the sound could be better. Again, I'd like even more criticisms from you, but at least you give me something to improve (in your eyes anyway).
Seeing as I played the music myself (as I wrote in the comments) you could have even been really specific about how the music should be changed...
You, as usual, give me a rundown of your play experience. Which is interesting to read and makes me realise - ah, so bonus two WAS the hardest... but it could be harder yet... and so on.
And you close with a positive comment.
A nice review. Some more criticisms would make it even better though.
omg i know why i didnt like mini skears 1 and 2
this one is much better because of the sound.you are one of my favorite flash artists.dont ever stop making flash.
Your review makes 2 points.
1 - The reason for your dislike of the first two Mini Skears games is the lack of sound. Its presence is a great thing in your opinion.
2 - Apparantly, I'm "one of [your] favorite flash artists". You go on to say, "dont ever stop making flash."
At least it's a step up from the other review you left for me. You actually make a specific point about the flash - that the presence of sound is a great boon.
Applied to this submission, it's a thumbs up. Applied to the previous edition, a criticism. Broadly speaking, it's a point to take to heart - the importance of having sound, even if we aren't called Ernest.
I have to question the honesty of your 2nd point. I mean, look deep inside yourself. It'd seem you've only played a few of my games. Can you really say you've gotten to know me? And I note none of my submissions and neither of my aliases appear in your favourites menu.
In any case, whilst you do have a positive note to say (retroactively applied as a criticism and so on and so forth) it'd be nice if you pointed out the imperfections in the game so I knew what to improve. Or maybe you could have taked a leaf out of Ramagi's book and given a quick rundown of your playing experience.
Thanks for the compliment.
The review is weak though. You can do better.
Criticise, praise and summarise. A good review should do all three, I feel.
