You play as a bank robber taking money from your partner inside. If you drop any of the loot you lose game over.
Main and most important issue is the game over screen which make me think of these three things.
1. Just say game over! I can assume why it's game over.
2. Make that game over screen shorter..like a milisecond the faster the better
3. Why are you putting me on the main menu screen?
while the first one is an annoyance, the other two are a matter that addresses the inherent issue of pacing and game flow.
this is a high score type of game, that's our only goal. So a long game over screen is unnecessary waiting, the fact it goes back to a menu is extra psychological torture. with the way the game speeds up this sudden STOP makes me want to stop playing especially after a few tries. If you wanna hook the player (and you DO), give us the ability to jump back in as FAST as possible. Keep the game flow constant.
I also had a bit of an issue, when using the arrow keys and the faster i had to tap, it became somewhat unresponsive. and no matter how many times i tapped it wouldn't move. Could be lag from online or the code idk, if it would be only me, but i'm just letting you know.
Having no music or animations i don't mind as i can tell it's one of those first few games. So despite the score of the game it at least played well enough. my high score was 30,000.
Updated some of those issues out now. Sorry about the inconvenience. Some of the issues where there to fix other issues, such as the unresponsiveness. that issue fixed a issue where it would send you across too fast. Like you would hit it once and go 2 spaces over. That fix was a matter of just decreasing the amount of time of the delay would be to 0.000000001th of a second rather than the 0.035 it was at. It really wasn't a first game, it was more or less a game made under X amount of time ported around and receiving no feed back from it. I hosted it on a number of other sites, store fronts, esc... and no feed back till I started putting my web games on newgrounds.

I'm not going to waste a whole lot of time with this review because there isn't much to say. But the creator doesn't have to worry about me raging like it says above.
Bank Robbery Drop feels incomplete. I keep thinking that a big chunk of the game is missThis is basically Dance Dance Revolution on a keyboard, but with no music or additional modes, and an instant failure for missing a button. It's unoriginal, and the graphics are clearly made from a paint tool with it's lack of detail & texture. There is a "best high score" feature installed, giving players the incentive to do better, which is awesome. The game also runs smooth, as in the controls are great. But the rest of the game won't be enough to keep players interested
My advice is to mark this as a demo, then continue working on it to deliver a more complete version. The graphics need spicing up, money bag droppings need sound effects, as well as catching and failing. It needs more than just one game mode, possibly music (more than just one track), and potentially the option to change your character. Even then you're probably only looking at a 7 out of 10 at best. The gameplay is just too unoriginal to make it big.
I hate to do this, but right now the game is only 2 out of 10. It isn't fun or exciting, and is too amateurish for public. If the creator is reading this: you know how to make and program a game, now you just have to find a way to make it exciting. As gamers, we want to play something fun, exciting, and bursting with content, something we can laugh about, show off to our friends later with pride. May your next game bring better fortune.

You shall rage aloud but lol, not first game. It is a over 2 years old game actually I had laying around, it was made in a day or two as a part of a timed event. I been making games for 16 or so years.....
I mostly just code the damn things and have fun doing that then upload my games to various websites with hopes that people might not find them crappy but they do and I am all like "AWWWW I POOPED UP AGAIN". Then I try to go fix those issues people complained about to make it less poopier, but if no one complains but rates it low I am like "Why do people not like what I have made? Tell me something PLZ" which is exactly what happened with this game till I uploaded it here lol.... that's ok I prefer to screw up.... I'm new to new grounds.... kinda... only as a content creator.
This game isn't that fun, just way to simple. The art is also not impressive.
