50 years is a coffebreak turn-based strategy.

I started to make this game after have played in Civilization and other “big” turn-based strategies a lot. They a perfect games, but sometimes they are too long. So I want to make a short TBS, but with all this things like nation choosing at the start and town management.

Really fun with a lot of return value. I keep losing but I get a little better every time. The interface and art style are really cool! Keep it up e4a. I like the different civilization choices too, I'm stuck trying to win with the celts.

Great game! Especially liked the zombie chicken idea. May need some music though. Would love to see a newer, extended version! :-)

Easy way to win the campaign: Start with the Romans, concentrate on collecting faith, do not build any buildings with money rewards. Choose the belief perk that leads to being able to build for faith. In the last battle before you get forced to pay tributes, send all your peasants into the fight. This strategy leads to an extremely easy second part of the campaign as the enemy does just start with 2000 bucks or so while you start with 6000. :-D

Hey, that's a some interesting strategy! In a new version of game you get +3 peasants when you loose to mongols, but I made this for another reason (to prevent situation when you stuck without gold income). But I think your strategy will work in a new version too, I should try it =))

This game is waaaayyy too addicting for it's own good. Now, I admit, I love the game, but the art style is very limiting and there is no music. But, I usually just play my own anyway. SO, all and all, pretty good game.

Beat the game for the first time using the French army. For the first 20 years, it is extremely useful during battles for your soldiers to retreat when they are almost dead, since it means I don't have to call peasants to the fight as often, thus earning more profit p/year.

Also, the first faith skill tree seems like the only viable option in the game; I've only been playing this for maybe 40 minutes, but none of the other skill trees seemed useful.

Overall, this game was fairly entertaining; as somebody else said in the reviews, it's a great coffee-break game, and I wouldn't hesitate to say that this could become very successful if you expanded it.
