Some good ideas, and the double-jump is kind of justified by the level design. Still, better graphics are highly needed, the speeches should be automatically skipped after the first time, the character should be completely still during these speeches (he can still turn his head, and having him turn his back to the NPC who wants to help him is pretty ridiculous), a real death animation is required (at least, make the playable character disappear when hit, it could go well with the shaking effect), and level 3 needs one or two checkpoints (I did not get past this level). It's a start :)
