The game is pretty nice you have some nice ideas for this game those Sword Busters are kind of hard, The special combos are pretty nice on this game, and there was lots of medal achievments so nice work on this game it was pretty fun

Is an adictive game but it reaches a point in which it has too much lag :(

This is a great game. It's very addictive.

Wave 49 repeats. Bit of a let down - no epic end battle :(

By this stage I'm Lvl 50 with 431 skill points to spend (score of 3649607, play time of 50:26) and pretty much invincible since Wave 49 is just green and yellow Awas. Managed play this long by pausing it a few times and coming back to it later: really needs an auto-save function.

If you quit (rather than die), then the game does not register your high score... so the only record I have of my mega-score is a screen capture - no in-game record.

I found Sword Bursters the toughest: damn bullet deflection means you can end up killing yourself if you're not careful. The trick with these guys is to only fire at them when they are far away - i.e. keep away from them and stop shooting when they come too close!!

Baleens take ages to take down (even when maxed!!), and Octoballs are a pain because the entire screen usually ends up splodged with black ink (use your Vacuum Sphere special to clear the black ink - I usually do this when the wave is clear (no point until then!)).

My favourite special combo was Vacuum Sphere (let a whole lot of enemies get sucked into the vaccuum), then Critical Explosion (for the critical boost), followed by a Bubble Beam aimed at the heart of the vacuum - a great way for clearing all sorts of nasties (especially Slime Drops - when you're maxed they're not too bad, but before then groups of them can be difficult otherwise).

Hardest achievement was Tough Bubble - you need to PURPOSEFULLY let stuff hurt you (Hint: max Regeneration and Spikes, and use your Restore special as needed - only fire when waiting for your Restore special to recharge (make sure you've got Eel Energy equipped - you'll need that Restore special to recharge as fast as possible.)

Not sure how you achieve Megakill - I took down plenty of larger-than-usual sized enemies... but never saw anything I would consider GIANT SIZED. Once I earned the "Bestiary" achievement, the message for earning it keeps activating every so often... but the Newgrounds medal is not working.

I did enjoy this game (I did play it long enough to get to Wave 49 and realise it repeats!!) but I do think it needs a Wave 50 with those GIANT SIZED enemies. And then an ending (kind of expected, since there is some kind of a start/story). Also need something to spend all those skill points on: for example cosmetic changes such as the colour of your Awa.

I dont get it, is there like a template for games like this? It's hard not to think of pixel purge when playing it. Kind of a let down that i can't start the game at a certain level. This is a 10 min flash game, why deprive me of fun?

Has a good tutorial tough, explains everything I need to know in one screen, has a skippable intro, a mute button. Also like how it pauses my game if mouse goes over and that while i keep firing it wont pause. It's like someone actually thought this through.
