This game was made for the Ludum Dare 32 Jam

Suri is a girl who likes to play with JefeRex, her GrowMonster toy. Some boys start making fun of her, and there she realizes that JefeRex is actually alive. All she need's to do is to get him in water and he will grow, allowing her to run and jump higher and he also attacks those who try to harm her.

* Step into the water to make "JefeRex" (the dinosaur toy) grow, allowing you to reach higher places
* Watch your water level, if it passes 10 "JefeRex" will get smaller
* Beware of the sand and salt on your path, for they dry "JefeRex"
* Get close to the bullys to let "JefeRex" attack them

I'm not sure how I feel about this game.
It looks really cute and I like the idea of a little girl and her toy dinosaur. The controls are strange. It's really hard to jump because they jump so quickly and the screen is fixed on the character so it's hard to land properly. When the girl jumps on her own she seems to smash down on the ground very quickly. It would look and feel better if you made her kinda float at the top of her jump.
It was a bit confusing to know what to do in the game until I read the description. It would be nice to have an in game tutorial.
Also the level design seems a bit to complex in the first area. I think it should start off easier and then increase in difficulty (maybe I just wasn't very good, I don't know).
I have to give it 2/5 because it needs more work in my opinion but I do really like the idea. It's a very cute concept and I think it could work well.
