Looks like you have an idea and understanding on the fundamentals of game design, nobodies first game is perfect or really that good honestly, dont let ppl discourage you to keep going, ive seen ppl's games that are worse than this and they've been making games for a long time...props dude keep at it !!

In terms of an attempt to make a first game... Well I should say it's already a good progress that you even created a game, that is already a hard task on it's own =P
In terms of the game itself now:
Rating it as I would any other game (1st or 50th, doesn't matter) it is not a very good game... I wouldn't say it is an horrible game, but it does have a lot more at fault than it has good things unfortunately.
First the image design is not all that appealing or good (but at least you did try to be original and use something of your own)... In terms of sound, it is somewhat repetitive and at some point maybe a little annoying, but I guess you don't have to be able to create your own sounds to create a game =)
As for the idea of the game itself... It's nothing new, you know it, I know it, everybody knows it, but again being a first game generally there aren't many original ideas I guess =P But this type of "puzzle" game is somewhat that people are tired of seeing, and for it to be great you generally need to have had a great and magnificent idea and twist... Other types of games like RPG's for example people are always seeing the same, but since you can put more of "your own" they can all be different so even if there is a lot of it there are more differences... I advice you to try to bet on those types of games, that aren't so much always the same, at least for starters, when you still need to build your skill =)
On general it wasn't a great game, but it wasn't by far one of the worse games I've seen taking in account that it was your first game and all.
Keep trying and evolving your skills, it's always worth a try =)
