I just made this for an animation contest, It's not Nites but they're coming along just fine. =)
A small blue bird rushes to deliver the first spring flower to bees who are desperate for nectar.

You can try to turn the volume up a little bit, that may help with the black screen part not feeling right :/

epic. my only pieves on this is the music cut is a bit garing, and the video was short, but the second can be explained with time restraints. other then that, its epic, and I cant wait to see more.

Excellent potential but some glaring problems. The wings when the bird is flying do not look right to me, that portion needs to be redone. It is way too short but has potential to be very very powerful. The music is spot on and great for this short.
You're absolutely right, the wing really does need fixing. But I'll be doing another similar animation later on so I'll be sure to watch out for such anatomical issues. =)
I think it was said below, but aside from the cut between flying and sitting on the branch (which was a bit jarring/awkward), this is very fluid/free form and a pleasure to watch.
I love the drawn quality it has. It looks especially good on the backgrounds and the distance shots and compliments the bird's motion.
