The kingdom, already in a state of war, falls victim to another misfortune - evil from the Dark Fortress is spreading on its territory: undead strike mortal terror into local population, and the hordes of Orcs and Goblins are ruining the peaceful cities. You have to cleanse this land of nightmarish creatures of darkness, and to fight with the chief evil - ancient liches, having hidden behind the impregnable walls of the Dark Fortress!

In opposition to a below "Review," this is one of the best TD games I have played. Nice art & music. Ability to create mazes with towers. An awesome upgrade system along with prizes for replaying levels without feeling grindy. Well Done!
5*

Game's completely worthless as a tower defense game.

Game was really good for the most part. Only thing that sucked was Two lane monsters.. Why I only gave 3 not 4.5

Actually really nice. Like the guy says below it isn't too new in the genre but it is really well made and has some nice features. Tough difficulty level also. Kept me happy for a few hours.

Well designed tower defense game, generally good progression accumulating skills and starting cash.

Difficulty ramps too much at 11th level (Lair of Ogres) where I'm sure you can't pass this level without clicking the "Casual Mode" button, even with everything maxed you simply don't have enough cash or tower experience to combat the Ogres. Every level before this one I played without "Casual Mode".

The special powers (Fireball, Acid, Ice) disappear when you are looking at a tower's stats - which is a pain having to click off-tower to deploy one of those powers quickly.

Being able to pan the map with mouse was useful - mainly because the key movement was too large (just tried that again and it doesn't move as much as I thought before ??)

Later in the game (11th level onwards) it is annoying that you can't upgrade any more.

Well, that's what I think - probably spent too much time playing with this already ;)

Yours,
TonyWilk
