Author Comments

Another city taken over with an epidemic awaits you. In Decision 3 you’ll meet allies and restore urban facilities. Fight, conquer, reinforce and protect your growing group of survivors while ridding the metropolis of the plague.

Tips:
- you can change the control scheme (mouse/keyboard);
- the location of inspectors is random;
- you must perform a direct action, “Frontier outpost” (obviously in adjacent areas) to unlock new areas;
- to found new survivors search the whole map, and revisit areas.

a game from back when they knew how to make games,
However I have to deduct a star as I don't have the option to turn the sound down only off. I would really like a little sound so I can hear the game and my podcasts

I did remember enjoying this one more than all the others, but i don't remember much of the gameplay other than "finding an engineer for 8 hours then having him die before you finish the mission simulator 2015" I did like how there were npcs that were not zombies as it added some type of company even though i have "a distinctive lack of friends and social skills" (also now we have another person to voice the main character, but it does not sound like the first one so it feels like they are 2 different characters.)

[Tips, suggestions and other stuff for new players]

-The “Stability” ability also increases your fire rate, it is not written down but it does, so when using slower firing weapons like one of rifles I recommend combining them together to maximize damage output.

-I highly suggest getting the detector (given by inspector Jonson) and max it out so it will show ATMs (pink dots), stashes and caches (light blue dots), Enemies (red dots), allies (green dots) and objectives (yellow).

-Engineering should be your first skill to max out as it is really important.

-Vitality is not very useful unless you are trying to get unlimited sprint where you max out vitality and agility as indicated from the “Athlete” achievement.

-For people, trying to complete the game as fast as possible goes straight for the Boss as to beat the game you must only kill him.

-When using militia in a mission or convoying workers to outposts/factories it's fine to let them die as after some time they will regenerate half of their HP and get back up, so just stay near their corpse while trying to wait. (This does not apply to naturally spawned militia or any of the survivors)

-When looking for more survivors I recommend exploring recon areas (area 1 are the recon areas) using the “explore/ramble” feature as they tend to have the most survivors.

-Taunt is good as saving allies, for example if you found a captain that you need but all of a sudden some zombies/mutant go to attack him you can use taunt to force them to come at you instead. (Note: sometimes does not work AND it will also attract ALL of the other zombies on the map, so use at your own risk)

-If you accidentally break an ATM before you loot it, it will respawn next time you go in that area.

-Inspectors come back to life after they die so don't worry about them too much.

-The game is beatable with the handgun and base armour, even on hard or after 35 resets so don't worry too much about upgrading weapons.

-Not a tip or a suggestion but i noticed that sometimes enemies will just straight up disappear, it only happens to zombie bosses, mutant bosses and regular mutants. Idk I just thought I would mention it.

-When you click the button to restart the game it says it will keep all character progress, what it means by that is it keeps all weapons/abilities you bought alongside their upgrades and keeps all of your weapon mastery.

if you lost one inspector bc some mutants decided to mess with that one. Can you fine him agane?

For some reason my materials completely reset on game load. I do conserve 30 at most. I guess save files load material amounts before loading maximum amount of them.

Sometimes I completely lose my ability to shoot or my character just won't stop going into direction I no longer need it too. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with my PC setup. It only happens in this game.

Things this game will never tell you:
* Final inspector won't spawn in easy mode (read that one). Preultimate shelter also won't spawn any inspectors.
* Maxed out agility and vitality grants unlimited sprint. Hinted at by "Athlete" achievement.
* Supplier works only on teammates, who are a part of your "Commander" skill squad. Really sucks in late-game, when your lone militia you train has to shoot green peons. How do they even manage to reduce threat by 3 percentage points?
* Bosses of both factions will never quit chasing you once you aggro them.
* Amount of saved individuals during secondary "bunch of freaks coming here" quests doesn't affect money gained. Just save 1 person.
* There is no limit to how much you can increase difficulty by constantly beating the game.
* Bonus reservation camps are totally useless. First one already has unlimited capacity.
