Peter Molyneux introduces the Controller1 Focus Test, a gaming podcast for now-defunct site controller1.com. Silly, random, just for fun.
Well that was... short! Just when I was getting into the vibe it's over! For what it's worth though it was a good intro, well-animated and catchy, and as it is an intro I guess this is how it's supposed to be, not too time-consuming, just a little glimpse of recognizability before the real thing starts. Nice work!
Haha, I'm sorry for the brevity. I had this crazy little idea in my head just for the intro, and I just had to get it out. I thought you guys might get a kick out of it, and Peter Molyneux is just a fun, slimy character to animate.
The animation is very good.
Thank you! I'm working hard on my frame-by-frame techniques.
This was pretty damn good.
A bit short, though.
I'm glad you enjoyed the animation. I'm thinking about making another cartoon based on the Controller1.com crew's early skits, so keep an eye out for them!
Well, I guess for an intro, it was fine. I don't understand why you made it so short. You have certainly made much better stuff. I think an intro as an entire submission should probably be about a minute long. It's what made the Rifftrax intro here so good. The animation is good, though.
I especially like the Dalek guy. I don't think I recognize your voice? Anyway, it's great to see you back again. I am still quite fond of your Angry White Boy Polka video. We need more Weird Al here.
I understand what you're saying. Normally I wouldn't be too keen on a brief Portal submission either. I liked the way this turned out, though, so I rolled the dice. I appreciate that you enjoy my other works, though. I have many more coming!
A decent intro, all you need now is the video that follows it.
The Controller1.com Focus Test is (or was) a funny, first-impressions video games podcast. They used to do very elaborate skits, and the characters you see in this cartoon (Molly, Kutaragi, Carmack) are based on them. To animate this particular podcast, though, it'd just be three guys talking, so I didn't go for it.
