This is a short demo of a game I have been working on. I am looking for some feedback from the community on all aspects.
Using A and D is not recommended for smooth gameplay.

I do appreciate your efforts, but it will take much more work to make it a decent game.

1) The main character' sprite and animation are quite good, just as various enemy sprites, but you seriously need to redraw other graphical elements from scratch (or find someone who'll do it for you). Their quality is poor and they don't the animated characters.

2) Background tunes become tiresome quickly and need to be replaced by something better. There are a few music artists here on Newsground, maybe you should try asking them for advice.

3) For some reason, the actual game screen only fills about 2/3 of my Newgrounds window. I don't think you wanted it to look like this, but maybe its my browser's fault.

4) A title or menu screen would be nice, especially if you bothered to explain controls there.

Normally, I would simply blam the game in its present state, but since you stated that it's only a short demo, I think you deserve the two stars as encouragement for your future efforts ;-) Hope to see the next version of your game soon.

Ye olde Jump'n'Run. You should add something innovative, there are hundreds of games like this out there. You need something special to be competitive. Also, the character is "drifting" when you use A and D instead of arrow-keys. Just sayin'...

beardedpete responds:

Thanks for the heads up. I will work on stopping the drifting.

I get the puzzle piece pic error saying "No plug-in available to display this content" :/

beardedpete responds:

If you are on a Mac you will have to install the Unity Plug-in.
