Addictive and fun! I really enjoyed playing for a good while. I love the art-style/theme.

However, I do have some small criticisms. Also, I guess I have just like a lot of little notes, and various thoughts, to input. haha
Okay, firstly, I understand that the player's constant firing attack hugging and swirling around the tube, making an element based on your movement, is sort of an integral part of the gameplay, but sometimes I would just reeeally love to point a cursor and AIM. In a way, the player already can direct their fire somewhat, so to me that starts to feel like a tease and is aggravating. If I could aim, or something, then I could especially focus my movement entirely on dodging. Just a thought.
Some might argue doing this could make the game overly easy, but technically the game would still require some skill, and focus. And personally I don't even enjoy so much hard stuff happening in a single moment that I can't seem to get past a section without taking at least some damage - I want to basically ace every section if I possibly can- (..then there are things that kill you instantly, anyway). I will say on a quick positive note, the boss battles (the early ones that I got far enough to face) seemed reasonable. (also though, now that I think of it, some game aspects, for example ones in the bosses, aren't explained anywhere like in the tutorial. Whatever those are, I can't seem to specify, I found just a little confusing, even after trying to figure it out from context.. things that kill you instantly? stuff like that?). If you're going to explain some gameplay elements in the tutorial, why not explain completely everything somewhere? -list of bosses, enemies, points, and all that..... I digress...
Alright, so I was trying to figure out the level structure as I went along as well- it seemed like it was randomized a bit? If there are indeed random factors, I must say I don't always enjoy that as a feature. Furthermore, regarding the difficulty, I feel like at some points it gets incredibly, almost impossibly, difficult to avoid taking damage (often with the red bullets, or, the game progression suddenly gets very intense at seemingly random levels), and then on top of that you don't find the energy refill quite in time. This seems to underrate some skill I might have. I can't exactly determine for certain, but the game starts to seem like it has too much of a luck factor (like maybe with the randomization). Personally, I would prefer for more of the gameplay to rely on skill. [To be fair, I'll admit it's possible that I'm just a lousy player. On that note, I'll also admit, I might like to try multiple difficulty settings perhaps].
One thing I think would help accomplish a better skill-difficulty integration, would be giving the player more varieties of control. (examples I think, other reviewers have already suggested, like ability to change speed on command.. changes with the shield, and ability to command whatever those changes are as well maybe.. etc.) Could a player select levels? Would that work? Eh, I don't know.. Finally, I suppose another way to help with maybe the skill integration, is like the game progression (which as I said, to me, felt too random).

Again, I understand how some of my critque points are simply part of the game. But that's my opinion for what it's worth. Also, apologies if I was unnecessarily verbose on some points - this game just brought out some of my passion, haha.

Fantastic game! The colors aren't hard to see like a lot of shooters I've played. My only complaint is the aspect ratio of the game gets skewed in fullscreen mode.
