only a demo and it have a lot of bugs but... hope you like it!
pretty good engine. i can never get my characters to jump off walls. what code do you use for that? although i don't think it's perfect since i continuously jumped until i was too high and i got the game over screen. there seems to be no physical impact against the enemies or the character. that is usually there to space out the attacks instead of constant strikes.
The controls are poorly thought out and the contrast in graphics is extreme. Either have detailed graphics or cartoon graphics, even in a demo the graphics should all be of the same quality (even if the background is supposed to be cartoonish make if feel like it goes with the character sprite).
The controls are too disperse. Keys need to be mapped to intuitive controls rather than the arcade mash up here. WASD and CTRL Shift Spacebar would have made a better fit.
