Use your ammo wisely, you can only carry 6 bullets!

Get to your ship, load some fuel and be free.

Controls
***********
Use LEFT and RIGHT to move.

Use UP ARROW to JUMP

Use DOWN ARROW to CROUCH

Use Z KEY to SHOOT

************
Since I couldnt make it to the lowrez jam just wanted to make a 32 by 32 resolution game.

There are a lot of bugs, sorry!

Visually, this game looks pretty solid although a widescreen resolution might help the poor draw distance which makes the game unnecessarily frustrating due to the very low chances of dodging bullets from enemies. Music was forgettable, and as the previous reviewer said a mute button would be nice. The controls work aside from crouch being unresponsive for every first hit on the button, you have to hit down twice. I think overall you might have something good, but in it's current condition "Freedom" is a very mediocre 8-bit flash. Try Again!

Hi!

I´ll add a mute key, sorry.

As the description says, its current resolution is 32x32 so wider its not possible, besides it has a lot of flaws, resolution is an issue.

Thank you for playing!

This game needs work. It's cool that you have limited ammo capacity, but the 'crouch' doesn't work for me, leading many bullets to hit me. The small area when I jump is a horrid way to dodge bullets. The music is annoying to me, too high pitched and no mute button is one of my pet peeves when it comes to games. There is no story-line that's visible, it just throws you into the game, which I assume that's the point HighSpeed was making.

The fact that it throws you in without control tutorials/note is frustrating, I lost a life as I was reading the controls. The art is cool, I don't mind pixel games, though the screen feels too small considering the size of the enemy and character.

The difficulty is stagnant, it never spikes and does not start off easy, which is jarring for people that do not play games like these and is an extreme turn off in any game. I suggest that you add a story first before anything, then go further to add gameplay elements. A shop in this game would sort of ruin the uniqueness of it, so I would suggest that you have a leveling system that either maxes the ammo capacity or possibly medals to be attained from bosses to give it a drive for people to play.

The first thing you should do first though, INSTALL A MUTE BUTTON, because it is blasting in my ears as I write this review, and is not helping anyone with it's constant looping.

Overall, awesome uniqueness (has been done with ricochet, but is fun to have in a moving action game), art is nice. though the screen is small in comparison to the characters. The music is annoying and the difficulty needs to be fixed.

Hi abyssal!

I´ll add a mute key, sorry!

Besides the game has a lot of flaws its not easy to make something in 32x32 which was the objective.

Im glad that besides all the flaws you could appreciate it in the end. Ill keep working!
