This is my Ludum Dare 30 entry - it was made for a 48 hour game jam!

You are a space trader of dubious moral standing - the profits from dealing in illicit substances are too much for you to resist. Get rich by trading between the inner planets in the solar system, but watch out for the police and space pirates...

I see a good starting point in this game ~ this has potential. Sound is good, mechanics are quite ok -- I'd suggest a system of upgrades and some other simulation-like interactive features. Check the Ur-Quan Masters for some inspiration ;)

ColludiumApps responds:

All good advice - thank you for your thoughts. Looking for Ur-Quan Masters now...

the commodities spawn again right away if you leave the planet and return; docking seems to be hit or miss; the obviousness of the volume of oranges on earth and the price on mars makes it the only worthwhile trade route(and then winning was similiar to a trip into the sun); there was a bug somewhere where I would buy one thing and get another; felt a lack of a port where I could affect my ship; infinite cargo?; many many little things, but this could be developed

ColludiumApps responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm finding a few little bugs like these here and there - they're all going on my to-fix-list... Thanks!

I can say the idea is interesting and this can be a great game, but everything is too slow moving, and when things are starting to happen, its a boring battle. I'd suggest the ship had a boost button to move around faster and escape from situations, of course the boost would be limited. Also, maybe around space, you could find different weapons. Just some suggestions.
Again, interesting idea and could be a great game.

ColludiumApps responds:

A boost button is a great idea! I didn't have time to create more weapons, but they are on my to do list. Thanks.

Moderate Game

I like the idea of it, and it is good so far, but there are some things missing for it.

I don't know if it was me, but when the cops and space pirates touch me, nothing happen. They don't even shoot at me. They should make the enemies harder.

Also, the ships in it move to slowly. They should add some speed on them.

Overall, it was an ok game. It needs a little touches on it, and it would be a good game!

ColludiumApps responds:

Thanks for your comments. The pirates and police should make something happen when they touch you for sure - I'll investigate why they're misbehaving! I made the game in 48 hours so now I'll be able to tidy things up...

I like merchant games, I'm excited to try this! Let the game commence!

I like the dual AWSD/UDLR arrows very nice :]. Concept is brilliant, flying time, killer. Trading prices don't seem to change so buying a ton of cocaine on mercury and selling it on the moon BOOM mucho profit. played for 10 minutes only had one cop encounter to which I hid on earth then exited and the cops were gone. Yeah I'm not to familiar with your contests though if this was a 72 hour made game I'd give yeah some props since you can't fit much else in there but for now. it was a interesting 10 minutes.

Hi, thanks for your thoughts! It was made in 48 hours so it's bare bones for sure. I'll now look into making the enemies more frequent and the markets more changeable.
