I am still very new to the flash programs so please forgive my not so clean look. This is a game about a small boy that is stranded in a dream world over run by nightmares.
we have a few good people helping with this project though are always willing to welcome help. if interested please let me know
I really like this idea. I'm excited to see what this grows into. : )
Wish I could help contribute in anyway, but I'm still a student studying game design. haha
im still a student as well. got a few good people helping me out though we can always use more help
This is awesome, your style is pretty cool. The only artwork that needs improvement is the castle and sidewalk in the end. I would love to help but im just a writer, a good one, but just a writer. if you need one of those let me know.
thank you for the offer. as busy as I have been could use the help. send me a message and ill send you to our fourm if interested in seeing where we are
This is a good trailer albeit an eerie one.
thank you. :)
i see what you're going for... i love the illustration style, and i know it must be hard to keep it when switching to animated scenes. the animations are too fast. i'm sure there could be a way to have some elements move with the same style as the still images. the soundtrack is really fitting too, i like it! keep it up
thank you I am still trying to learn the flash program and know very little about animating as is but im trying :) you can expect far better improvements in the future though for now just trying to learn
You know, I see some great potential in this.
The murkiness of the scenes add to the theme of a dark tale. And the drawing themselves make it look like this is a child trying to tell the story themselves. I don't know if this was intended or an accident but you have something running in the right direction here.
This is a nice choice for music too (is it an original score or taken? Make sure to give credit!) Very fitting set of intensity.
As for a critique, be careful of the transitions and the shrinking/enlarging of the still shots. They do come off as a little choppy. I understand you're new to flash. So you can make this one point to research and work on!
All in all, you've got something that can be great in the future. I look forward to your future projects!
thank you. the music i had mixed with a program music maker jam trying to give a decent feel we are currently still working on this project for the most part just wanted to say the project isnt dead yet.
i see what you mean about the transitions being choppy i will try to work on that. thank you for the review and critique. it really helps me to improve.
Put down your hog dog burrito, it time to learn the Chinese.
