Hello Vex fans and newcomers... Vex is back at last with one final challenge.

Vex 3 is the largest Vex game to date with 10 standard stages, an additional 9 incredibly hard 'challenge' stages, 10 hidden stars to collect, an array of achievements to hunt down and of cause an even better stage builder! Think you're calm enough to not get vexed?

Newgrounds medals and highscores are included too, so lets see who can rack up the most deaths for the bragging rights, sorta...

//UPDATE 1.02 08-08-2014
- Can no longer achieve 0 seconds on any act
- Blocks with animations also remove their animation when removed in Stage Builder

Thank you for playing, all feedback is welcome :)

Ever since I made this account, Vex has been in my heart, even on my old guy Epicethan124/
Now its time to review it.

Them music is more upbeat than the last games and is clearer which is good. You added more features so you definitenitly didn't rinse aand repeat. YOu added more challenge, and overall made an awesome game.

Challenging, intense, fast-paced, and ANGERING, just like the other games in the series.

Basic but decent graphics, fun electronic music and plenty of sound effects make the presentation of this game similar to that of earlier games in the series, but this one feels like it has a lot more detail, for whatever reason. It feels like more work went into the special effects, especially when the character dies and his limbs fly everywhere.

This game's gameplay is, in its core concept, just like the rest of the series: reach a destination by running, jumping, ducking and avoinding traps, optionally remembering to gather stars and other secrets in each stage. There are a few novel features that make this game slightly different than its predecessors, though. The most interesting of them is that now you can, once beating a stage with a gold score, face an advanced version of the stage that is a few thousand times more frustrating. Then there's also all different kinds of new obstacles and features that are pretty cool, but I don't know how I'd go into describing them textually.

The stage design consists mostly of setups and sections requiring fast reaction times and accurate movement, just like in the other games of the series, but there are a few parts in which thinking plays a strong role. For instance, there is this one part (I think it was in act 5 or so, but I don't know) where you're on a crate over a block of ice, and you have to figure out what to do with that crate in order to proceed, and it took me a while to figure out I had to kick it out of danger to use to get across an obstacle in the next part of the level. The levels in this game are composed of a nearly even mix of fun and frustration, with some fast-paced parts giving you that exhilaration and satisfaction of surviving a dangerous section by crossing it quickly, while other parts will take a few times to get right.

With all that said (and I've been prolixious in my recent reviews), all that's left to say is that, yes, I enjoyed this game.
