It's good but needs a bit of work, maybe add an upgrading system, it would definitely help.

Nice graphics :-) Could use some sound though. Oh, about the shooting scheme: it's a bit annoying that you have to constantly press space/left mouse button to shoot, could use some autofire or at least a scheme in which holding the button makes the ship to shoot.
