Don't get why people are bashing this.

Game play was virtually non-existent, controls were too loose, graphics were bland, story was bland. Also, for the record, ALL currencies are fiat (made out of thin air). We agree gold has a value in exactly the same way that we agree money has a value- communally, because it assists in the bartering of goods and services.

No gameplay value at all, impossible to control in a meaningful way - and in any case your actions have no effect on the course of the game. Which isn't a game, as such, more an interactive propaganda message.

Now I'd actually give credit where it's due to a good propaganda piece - whether I agree with it or not, I'd at least say that it was impressive. But this one is a bit rubbish. Partly due to the low interactivity, but also the lack of a clear message. It's a weird combination of extreme right wing Goldbug conspiracy theory (the banks/government create money out of thin air! there is no gold standard anymore! the citizenry must take control of the money supply themselves, with a currency that has no government influence or control!) with extreme left wing politics (Occupy/We Are The 99%/The 1% are running everything/Bankers are space aliens and the world governments are in their pay). And as far as I can see the basic takehome message is something like "If we used Bitcoin, nobody would ever be in debt, and nobody would ever have to work anymore" which is such obvious complete balls that it isn't even an effective propaganda piece.

One and a half stars for the aliens though. A flash "game" featuring aliens needs proper aliens, and this one delivered proper aliens. Bravo.

A propaganda piece as subtle as any that the Soviets or the U.S. could possibly dream up. So not subtle then. Worse, you're advocating for bitcoin, but you never do anything with it in game. In fact, you end the game right around the time where bitcoin should have been useful. So the take-away message is "banks are evil and bitcoin does nothing." Not, I think, what you wanted to say.

As for the gameplay... what gameplay? I was never given a choice in any action. It's an animated pamphlet that uses vagueness to drive a curious reader to turn the page.

If you want this to be a game, add "wingmen" in the killing protesters scene. Have the resistance react badly to you if you take part. You know, give actual choices and have actual consequences.

Also, as mentioned by others, it's damned near impossible to shoot and dodge. Make the ball controllable by keyboard or something.
