A simple walk, nothing else than that. The character looks decent enough and the style of walking is well done but it does nothing to go beyond this. For what it is its actually decent.

Well... it's a walk cycle. Yes, a very good walk cycle but still, just a walk cycle. I don't know if it was common for people to submit stuff like this back in '02 but even if it was, I can't give it a good score.

Everything, visually, in this was great, but there was only one thing.

Maybe you should have made it walk in a town and have some events happen. I'm assuming you don't do Flash anymore and I won't disagree with your decision. Your still images in Photoshop are great and much better than this.
