you can just spam click and you will defeat the enemies, there needs to be some sort of cool down because otherwise the game is too easy, also with how fast the character attacks the charge attack is useless. its pretty fun if i actually time the attack but its still pretty easy anyway. you should make it more precise to hit the opponents and give the character slower sings but a bit faster charge up attack
The boss battle is either very hard or very easy depending what items you get. With immortality potion its way too easy, otherwise quite hard. Overall rest of the game is okay.
Not a bad game, it does get rather addicting the more you get into it. But, I do have two major issues with the game...hence, my 2 star score:
First is the one-hit-and-you-die thing. That is just a total cop out in my opinion. I mean at least give us two hits, in the NES classic Ghosts n Goblins you had 2 hits before you died. The one-hit-and-you're-dead thing is really annoying; especially if you use a teleporter in a stage and you find yourself surrounded by baddies...you have no chance...unless you were lucky enough to get the Armor pickup, which brings me to my next issue...
The "upgrades"--or should I say the LACK of upgrades--I can understand the Invisibility and Invincibility pick-ups being random chest drops, but the only two upgrades that are worth anything and have any in game effect is the Coin Magnet and Four Leaf Clover. If you're going to give us an upgrades menu, make sure we can USE the upgrades after we buy them, and NOT have to rely on random chest drops.
I'd suggest make it so that you can USE the upgrades like the Meat Cleaver, Crossbow, Boots of Speed and so on in game once you buy them; and as you get higher ranks in them you get certain bonuses or buffs...and get rid of the one hit kill thing, at least give us two hits before we die.
I love the game, very addicting. I love the idea but it became frustrating when I kept dying early in the dungeon when the aimer refused to move. I just scrolled back to the game, I found two archers shooting at my dead corpse.
