The Floorsland Origins is a remake of The Floorsland 1 and The Floorsland 2 with updated graphics, music, an actual plot and bonus content! You can also compete for the highest score in the scoreboard as well as earn medals!
HOLD X OR G TO RUN. THIS WILL LET YOU JUMP HIGH ENOUGH TO REACH THE PLATFORM IN THE TUTORIAL LEVEL. THIS IS HERE AND IN ALL CAPS SO YOU SEE IT BEFORE SAYING IT'S IMPOSSIBLE, WHICH WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T READ THE FIRST MESSAGE CAREFULLY.
Note: You can skip the writing animation on the title screens by simply clicking on the screen.
Note 2: The bonus challenges are made to be really hard, but they are carefully tested and completely possible to beat even from the first try.
Note 3: You can delete your save file if you press the Up Arrow, Control and Delete on the main title screen.

So I like what you have presented here its pretty nice, As a platformer its notbad but could use some aded features maybe some extra bonus elements, The character height seemed to be issue at times but still I have to say I had some fun with the game and see potential in some polish

Can't even get to the title screen: "The Newgrounds API failed to connect properly. The game has been stopped to prevent bugs and glitches." Why does it even need to connect to anything?
Now that is not my problem. It needs to connect to the NG API because of the medals and scoreboards. The game will bug out if it doesn't connect.
Edit: It seems the game is fundamentally broken. The settings seem okay, so I'll blame Newgrounds.
While a great effort at a platformer, the game could have really used some more vigorous testing before uploading. The edges of each ledge seem to have weird hit detection which caused me to fall through though I definitely landed on the platform. Also, playing Montgomery's challenge was quite a pain because the drill-like objects cannot be ducked under very effectively due to the character's height - I ended up just walking through them and taking damage because my health was plentiful and the dodge was far too difficult.
There's also a bit of a snaffu with working the switches, sometimes they work perfectly, sometimes they have to be clicked multiple times to operate, which I found odd.
With more polish I honestly think you can churn out a very responsive game. The running and jumping felt very natural and tight in my opinion.
Yep, I totally agree the collision detection's not that good. Also, Montgomery's challenge is meant to be pain and you aren't really supposed to be able to pass under those. I've done it only once in testing.
The switches are really quite weird, mostly due to not actually using hit detection and instead checking the distance between you and the switch.

It's a simple game. Sadly, i didn't enjoyed it, it was too short, and sometimes the levels weren't very well made.
