This game is all about programming a pirate ship to get the treasure. Use the compass buttons to direct the ship and then see if you calculated correctly.

My first game created in ActionScript 3.0

Annoying colors. Looks like a game made in the 90's by a kid.

Not very intuitive. I mean, the instructions for a menu? "Resetting" just brings you BACK to the menu? Come on, man. You can do better than this.

First, the game worked as intended - no matter how long the course I took to the treasure was, it never froze or glitched once. One minor point, though: the map feels useless if I can just direct my ship over entire continents. Also, for some reason this feels like a minigame within a larger scale game to me. Overall, though, it's a good job.

Thank you for your feedback, this game was designed to be played as a 5-10 minute starter for a classroom lesson so it wasn't meant to be too long, and basically is meant to be an arcade game.

Interesting, but too simple- No route is more than just two directions repeated a few times. I'd like to see two or more points to navigate to each time. It would really help it!
No other complaints really, the animation on the movement could be smoother though, I guess.

This game was created for use within a primary school so only one treasure, or goal, was needed as it was to teach them the directions on a compass. Thanks for the idea though!

if you are learning how to program games, then keep this test games to yourself, no point in making people "play" this.

Thank you for the feedback, this game was created for use in a primary school so as it stands it is completed (for what was required).

Has potential, but not there. Decent concept, however when doing something on a global scale, you have to remember to link it so that the player can loop from one side of the globe to the other as well as not go though the squares that are compleatly land. The problem becomes if they try to go north beyond what is already there they should apear on the other side of the world. A little more play testing is needed before release. Also, I would suggest haveing more than just a single treasure to go after.
