A good beginning but as of now it is not a game yet but an alpha of sorts.

I didn't like it. Just something good here and there...

There needs to be a clear indicator when you take damage, as of now there is no sound or visual cue beyond a number in the corner dropping. It's also unsatisfying that monsters don't take damage until the animation finishes, resulting in some really inaccurate looking attacks that leave me mashing the attack button because I don't know whether or not my attacks will contact or not. Further the range of the attack varies, and when an enemy has died you can continue attacking him which, in the heat of battle, leaves things chaotic but in a "this game is poorly made" kind of way. I get that it's incomplete but it feels like there were many design elements that were simply forgotten. I guess we'll see if it improves or not.

How is this a tech demo? There is nothing impressive about it at all. This is at most a proof of concept for a game to come.
