Well I gotta admit this isn't half bad. Can't say I've seen many 3D 8 bit sprites of Mario duking it out. So yeah this passes
Woo, a sprite battle in 3D! Something new! Something innovative! I don't think it's ever been done before. The mixture of oldskool 3dlized sprites and a fight was pretty neat, even if the world looks kinda flat. Only design element that bothers me a bit is that clear blue background... didn't the original games have more background? Keep it going!

Would've been a lot greater if you hadn't reused the same drum fill over and over and over again.
It's pretty good but it is a little too long if you don't mind me saying so.
