This game is very cool. I especially liked the introduction and the tutorial was very well thought out. The dialogue is interesting and so is the story. I really enjoy games that let me recruit soldiers and see them in action as they slaughter hordes of enemies. It's a break from the trend that some games follow where you send your soldiers into battle and all you get is a report. Also the concept of the characters' arms and legs being invisible kinda reminds me of the thing thing arena games and when I used to play Rayman Arena on my PS2 as a kid. I can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Gave me a random loss... Deletes my account... ???

While a businessman, myself, I don't begrudge you the inclination towards asking every potential customer for a sale, I personally don't come to Newgrounds to spend money - and any request that comes up here (be it explicit or implicit) is a little annoying.

That is my ~only~ issue with this game.

The art is spectacular, the challenge level is well thought-out. A casual player can sit back and let the AI do the heavy work, but at the same time an intense player can micro-manage and eke out those few extra rounds. The story is entertaining.

I find that dependence upon the PCs can be relegated to the first two companions you earn. There is relatively little motive to train up the other auxiliary characters, because you can get through the game without them just fine. There isn't even much emotional appeal to use them. Were I you, I'd give a little more appeal towards advancing the eventual traitors, so that the betrayal would carry more weight.

In terms of mechanics, the game is genius, though predisposed towards paying players. In terms of story and artistic appeal, the game is brilliant, but can still stand with a bit of polish.

Fantastic game. Been playing for way too many hours now.
